The Faysal Bank T20 is a professional league for Twenty20 cricket competition in Pakistan, initiated in 2004 by the Pakistan Cricket Board(PCB), and is currently sponsored by Faysal Bank. Beginning in 2004-05, the Faysal Bank T20 was sponsored by ABN-AMRO & its name was ABN-AMRO Twenty20 Cup. In 2007-08, it was renamed as the RBS Twenty20 Cup being sponsored by Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). In 2010-11, Faysal Bank took over the RBS & now its name is Faysal Bank Twenty20 Cup. The league currently consists of 8 teams, however is expected to be replaced in next tournament with the Faysal Bank Twenty20 Cup 2011-12 & expected that 14 teams took part in this tournament.13 teams from 11 reagons & a team Afghanistan XI.
